 The following words by the apostle Paul are frequently used to denigrate the Bible as sexist - “I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner” (1Timothy 2:12,13). The criticism that Paul’s teaching is sexist is silenced by a careful consideration of the context.

In his first letter to Timothy, Paul says that “women will be saved through childbearing” (2:15). If this is the case, there must be more than one way to be saved.
In a world that is obsessed with 'political correctness', it has become 'fashionable' to refer to God as 'she', or 'it'. But what is the correct view of this?
